Description

The invention relates to an optoelectronic sensor device for detection the wetting of a motor vehicle window.

Problematisch bei einer solchen Sensoreinrichtung ist, daß der über ein optisches Koppelmedium an der Kraftfahrzeugscheibe großflächig befestigte Strahlenleitkörper eine relativ große Masse aufweist, was bei den in einem Kraftfahrzeug auftretenden enormen Schwingungsbelastungen zu Ablösungen des Strahlenleitkörpers von der Scheibe und damit zu Unterbrechungen in der optischen Ankopplung führen kann.DE 43 18 114 A1 is an optoelectronic sensor device known, in which an outgoing from a transmitter diverging transmitter beam over one on the inner surface of the Motor vehicle window fixed massive radiation guide body by means of a parallelized on the same outside lens and into the motor vehicle disc coupled and after at least one on the outer surface of the  Disc taking place again coupled out of the disc and via another lens present on the outside of the radiation guide as converging beam of rays is fed to a receiver located outside. The problem with such a sensor device is that it has a optical coupling medium attached to the motor vehicle window over a large area Radiation guide body has a relatively large mass, which is the case in one Motor vehicle occurring enormous vibration loads to detach of the radiation guide body from the disc and thus to interruptions in the can lead optical coupling.

In US 4,701,613 is an optoelectronic Sensor device disclosed, in which one with the Profiled, radiation coupling and radiation decoupling areas having flat plate with the interposition of an optical Coupling medium is held on the inner surface of a motor vehicle window.

The beam path runs from one lens parallelizing to the rays coupling areas and from the rays decoupling areas to a focusing Lens each over an air gap.

The invention according to claim 1 below in this respect differs from the state of the Technology than the radiation guide exclusively with its edge with the Disk is connected.

This results in an additional reflection at a short distance from the motor vehicle window achieved that the radiation guide between the radiation exit surface and the radiation entry surface an essentially parallel to the motor vehicle window, spaced from it Midsection, the ge with one of the existing on the motor vehicle profile orderly profiling can be seen, which also has beam entry coupling areas and beams exit coupling areas for the parallel beam is provided.

Protection against stray light is achieved in that the radiation guide body on its outer Surface is provided with an opaque protective layer except for the radiation passage window.

A good protection is achieved in that the protective layer be made of a metallic material stands.

For an unimpeded light guide it is provided that the bowl-shaped Radiation guide made of glass or plastic.

The connection of the sensor device to the motor vehicle window takes place in that the Radiation guide body with a peripheral edge on the motor vehicle window or held is non-positively assigned to the inner surface of the motor vehicle window.

A multiple reflection of the beam is achieved in that in the central portion of the Radiation guide body parallel to the radiation entry surface and the radiation exit surface Reflective layer extending through the motor vehicle window for the coupling out of the motor vehicle window Beam is present.

The reflection layer is on the upper side facing or facing away from the motor vehicle window surface of the radiation guide body available.

With little effort, the reflection layer can be formed by the protective layer Realize metallic material layer.

A special beam guidance is achieved in that the central area has a wedge base points, the one coupling surface perpendicular to the reflected beam on the motor vehicle window del stands and its other coupling surface parallel to that reflected on the motor vehicle window Beams run.

A simple arrangement of the profiles is achieved in that the profiles in each case are present on a film section on the motor vehicle window or the inner surface of the radiation guide is attached.

Ausführungsbeispiele werden anhand der Zeichnungen erläutert, in denen darstellen:Exemplary embodiments are explained with reference to the drawings, in which:

Fig. 1 ein erstes Ausführungsbeipiel im Schnitt und Fig. 1 shows a first exemplary embodiment in section and

Figs. 2 to 4 show further embodiments, respectively in section.

Fig. 1 shows a section of a motor vehicle window 1 and a radiation guide 3 , which is attached to the inner surface 2 of the vehicle window 1 cohesively or non-positively, for. B. by an optical adhesive layer, in recordings, in a separate holder or in some other way. A radiation entry window 13 as the radiation guide body 3 has a lens 14 and a radiation exit surface 4 . The lens 14 forms a transmitter parallel beam bundle 12 from the divergent transmitter beam bundle 5 of the transmitter 8 . On the receiving side of the radiation guide body 3 there is a radiation exit window 16 with a radiation entry surface 6 and a lens 17 for focusing a reception parallel beam 15 into a convergent reception beam 7 on a receiver 18th The lenses 14 and 17 can be formed integrally with the sensor housing 3 by lenses being formed in the sensor housing. This is easily possible with injection molded parts. The optical wavelengths are normally in the infrared. The outside of the radiation guide body is covered outside the radiation passage areas with an opaque protective layer in the form of a metal layer.

In the example of FIG. 1 is the profiling 9 is formed directly in the motor vehicle window glass 1, wherein the radiation coupling regions are aligned 10 at an angle of approximately 45 ° to say perpendicularly to the direction of the transmitting bundle of parallel rays 12 so that the transmitter parallel beam 4 perpendicular to the surfaces of the beam coupling regions 10 hits and reflections are largely avoided. The beam coupling areas 11 are also aligned at an angle of 45 ° to the motor vehicle window 1 and at an angle of 90 ° to the beam coupling areas 10 , so that the receiving parallel beam bundle 15 passes perpendicularly and thus largely reflection-free through the beam coupling areas 11 .

In the embodiment of FIG. 1 are the sensitivity to increase two reflexio NEN provided on the outside of the motor vehicle wheel 1. The transmitter parallel beam bundle 12 emerges after the first reflection on the outside of the motor vehicle window 1 through the radiation coupling areas 11 as parallel beam bundle 19 and through a coupling surface 20 , which is oriented perpendicular to the direction of the parallel beam bundle 19 , in a wedge projection 30 in the central section 23 of the radiation guide body 3 on. A wall of the beam guide body 3 aligned parallel to the motor vehicle window 1 is designed as a reflection surface or mirror surface 21 . After reflection on the mirror surface 21, the parallel beam emerges through a coupling surface 22 again in the direction of the motor vehicle window 1 . After entering the radiation coupling areas 10 , the second reflection takes place on the outside of the motor vehicle window 1 . The received parallel beam 15 is finally focused on the receiver 18 Emp.

The profiles 9 are introduced into the motor vehicle window 1 by pressure, by heat or by mechanical shaping.

The peripheral edge 28 of the bowl-shaped radiation guide body 3 is integrally connected to the motor vehicle disc by an adhesive connection or non-positively.

In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 2, a film section 31 having the profile 9 can be provided on the motor vehicle window 1 by an optical adhesive connection. The mirror gel surface 29 is provided on the inside of the radiation guide body 3 .

Fig. 3 shows an embodiment in which the profiles 9 are formed directly on the motor vehicle test disk 1 and the mirror surface 29 is hen vorgese on the inside of the central portion 23 .

The embodiment according to FIG. 4 has profiles 9 in the motor vehicle window 1 and further profiles 24 with radiation coupling areas 25 and 26 in the central section 23 of the radiation guide body 3 .
