Die Erfindung betrifft
Organopolysiloxan/Polyharnstoff/Polyurethan-Blockcopolymere der allgemeinen Formel (1)
B- { [NR -CR2 2-SiR2- (0-SiR2) n-CR2 2-NR4-CO-NH-Y-NH-CO] a- [Z-D-Z-CO-NH- Y-NH-CO] b- [NR4-CR2 2-SiR2- (0-SiR2) n-CR2 2-NR -CO-NH-Y-NH-CO-NH-Y-NH- CO] c}d-B,
die aus der Umsetzung von Aminomethyl-terminierten Polydimethylsiloxanen mit Diisocyanaten und gegebenenfalls Kettenverlängeren erhalten werden, ein Verfahren zu deren Herstellung sowie deren Verwendung.
Die Eigenschaften von Polyurethanen und Siliconelastomeren sind in weiten Bereichen komplementär. Polyurethane zeichnen sich durch ihre hervorragende mechanische Festigkeit, Elastizität und eine sehr gute Haftung, Abriebfestigkeit sowie eine einfache Verarbeitung durch Extrusion aus der Schmelze aus. Siliconelastomere dagegen besitzen eine ausgezeichnete Temperatur, UV-, und Bewitterungsstabilität . Dabei behalten sie ihre elastischen Eigenschaften bei tieferen Temperaturen bei und neigen deshalb auch nicht zur Versprödung. Daneben besitzen sie spezielle wasserabweisende und antihaftende Oberflächeneigenschaften.
Daher sollte die Kombination von Urethan- und Silicon-Polymeren Materialien mit guten mechanischen Eigenschaften zugänglich machen, die sich zugleich durch eine gegenüber den Siliconen stark vereinfachten Verarbeitungsmöglichkeiten auszeichnen, jedoch weiterhin die positiven Eigenschaften der Silicone besitzen. Die Kombination der Vorteile beider Systeme kann zu Verbindungen mit niedrigen Glastemperaturen, geringen Oberflächenenergien, verbesserten thermischen und photochemischen Stabilitäten, geringer Wasseraufnahme und physiologisch inerten Materialien führen. Durch Herstellung von einfachen Polymerblends konnte nur in wenigen speziellen Fällen ausreichende Verträglichkeiten erreicht werden. Erst mit der in I. Yilgör, Polymer, 1984 (25), 1800 und in EP-A-250248 beschriebenen Herstellung von
Polydiorganosiloxan-Harnstoffblockcopolymeren konnte dieses Ziel erreicht werden. Die Umsetzung der Polymerbausteine erfolgt letztlich nach einer vergleichsweise einfachen Polyaddition, wie sie für die Herstellung von Polyurethanen angewendet wird. Dabei wurden als Ausgangsmaterialien für die Siloxan-Harnstoff-Copolymere als Siloxanbausteine Aminopropylterminierte Polysiloxane verwendet. Diese bildeten die Weichsegmente in den Copolymeren, analog zu den Polyethern in reinen Polyurethansystemen. Als Hartsegmente wurden gängige Diisocyanate eingesetzt, wobei diese auch noch durch Zusatz von Diaminen, wie z.B. 1, 6-Diaminohexan oder Dihydroxyverbindungen wie z.B. Butandiol zur Erreichung höherer Festigkeiten modifiziert werden können. Die Umsetzung der Aminoverbindungen mit Isocyanaten erfolgt dabei spontan und benötigt in aller Regel keinen Katalysator.
Die Silicon- und Isocyanat-Polymerbausteine sind in einem weiten Bereich problemlos mischbar. Die mechanischen Eigenschaften werden durch das Verhältnis der unterschiedlichen Polymerblöcke Silicon-Weichsegmente und Harnstoff-Hartsegmente und wesentlich durch das verwendete Diisocyanat bestimmt. Durch die starken Wechselwirkungen der Wasserstoffbrücken zwischen den Harnstoffeinheiten werden thermoplastische Materialien erhalten. Dabei kann die Herstellung diskontinuierlich in Lösung aber auch kontinuierlich wie z.B. im europäischen Patent EP 0 822 951 beschrieben, durchgeführt werden.
Sowohl bei Yilgör et al . als auch in den europäischen Patenten EP 0 250 248 und EP 0 822 951 werden die als Edukt verwendeten Aminopropyl-funktionellen Siloxane über
Äquilibrierungsreaktionen aus Siloxancyclen und Bisaminopropyltetramethyldisiloxan hergestellt. Die über diese Äquilibrierungsreaktionen hergestellten difunktionelle Siliconöle haben jedoch mehrere Nachteile.
Die in EP 0 250 248 beschriebene Äquilibrierungsreaktion ist eine sehr langwierige Reaktion, bei der außerdem ein sehr teures Edukt wie Bisa inopropyltetramethyldisiloxan und spezielle Katalysatoren verwendet werden müssen, welche extra synthetisiert werden müssen. Dies ist nicht wirtschaftlich durchführbar. Weiterhin werden bei der Äquilibrierungsreaktion relativ große Mengen von vorzugsweise zwischen 500 und 1000 ppm an Katalysator eingesetzt. Der Katalysator wird am Ende der Äquilibrierungsreaktion thermisch deaktiviert, was zu Abbauprodukten und somit Verunreinigungen im Endprodukt führt, die Auswirkungen auf die thermische Beständigkeit der so hergestellten Materialien haben. Während der thermischen
Behandlung neigen die so hergestellten Siliconöle dazu, eine deutlich sichtbare Verfärbung in Form eines Gelbstiches anzunehmen. Diese Abbauprodukte sind ebenfalls für einen starken Eigengeruch der daraus synthetisierten Materialien verantwortlich. Dieser Eigengeruch ist deutlich wahrnehmbar und führt darüber hinaus zu Reizungen beim Anwender oder Verarbeiter dieser Materialien.
Die nach EP 0 822 951 hergestellten Materialien besitzen dabei in der Regel Erweichungsbereiche über 100°C, was bei der Verwendung als z.B. Schmelzkleber oder Matrixmaterial für feuchtigkeitsvernetzende Siloxanmassen Anwendungstemperaturen von deutlich über 120 °C erfordern würde, was mit gängigen Hot- melt-Dosiersystemen z.T. nicht erreicht werden kann, oder für zu verklebende Kunststoffteile zu warm ist, da diese dann selbst zu schmelzen beginnen.
Es bestand daher die Aufgabe
Organopolysiloxan/Polyharnstoff/Polyurethan-Blockcopolymer herzustellen, die einen deutlich verringerten Gelbstich zeigen und keine reizenden Stoffe ausdünsten. Weiterhin sollten sie noch unter 100°C erweichen und somit eine VerarbeitunσstertvDeratur vnn unter 1D0°r. anfwpiqpn. Die Aufgabe konnte überraschenderweise dadurch gelöst werden, dass als Edukt für die Herstellung der Copolymere Bisaminomethyl-terminierte Siloxane verwendet wurden, die ohne den Zusatz von Katalysatoren in sehr guter Reinheit zugänglich sind.
Gegenstand der Erfindung sind daher

Kohlenwasserstoffrest mit 1 bis 6 Kohlenstoffatomen, insbesondere nicht substituiert oder Wasserstoff. Besonders bevorzugte Reste R2 und R4 sind Wasserstoff.

Das Polydiorganosiloxan-Harnstoff-Copolymer der allgemeinen Formel (1) zeigt gute mechanische Eigenschaften bei guten Verarbeitungseigenschaften .
Überraschenderweise wurde weiterhin gefunden, dass bei Verwendung eines Aminomethyl-terminierten Polydimethylsiloxans (PDMS) die resultierenden Polyharnstoff-Siloxancopolymere weichere Materialien als bei Verwendung Aminopropyl- terminierter PDMS erhalten werden. Dies zeigt sich nicht nur in einem niedrigeren Anfangsmodul, sondern auch in geringeren Shore-Härten. Dies ist von Vorteil in niedermoduligen
Dichtstoffanwendungen sowie in Anwendungen, bei denen der weiche Griff der Copolymere ein entscheidendes Anwendungskriterium ist wie es beispielsweise in Textilanwendungen der Fall ist.
Ein weiterer Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Organopolysiloxan/Polyharnstoff/Polyurethan- Blockcopolymeren der allgemeinen Formel (1)

Vorzugsweise bedeutet R3 einen einwertigen, Kohlenwasserstoffrest mit 1 bis 6 Kohlenstoffatomen, insbesondere nicht substituiert. Besonders bevorzugte Reste R3 sind Methyl-, Ethyl- oder iso-Propylgruppen.
Die Herstellung des Bisaminomethylpolydiorganosiloxans der allgemeinen Formel (4) ist kostengünstig, verläuft unter milden Reaktionsbedingungen und führt zu Produkten, die farblos und geruchsfrei sind. Das entstehende Nebenprodukt ist ein Alkohol und kann im Produkt verbleiben, wird jedoch bevorzugt beispielsweise durch Behandeln des Produktes bei reduziertem Druck an einem Dünnschichter entfernt. Der Gehalt an cyclischen Siliconverbindungen im Bisaminomethylpolydiorganosiloxan der allgemeinen Formel (4) ist besonders gering, da diese schon auf der Stufe der Silanol-terminierten Edukte der allgemeinen Formel (3) entfernt wurden. Das Bisaminomethylpolydiorganosiloxan der allgemeinen Formel (4) enthält ferner weder Äquilibrierungskatalysatoren oder deren Reste, da die Umsetzung von Silanol-Gruppen mit dem Aminosilan der allgemeinen Formel (2) unkatalysiert in sehr kurzer Zeit erfolgt. Daher sind diese funktionalisierten Siliconöle und deren Folgeprodukte geruchsfrei und farblos. Hinzu kommt, dass die Polymerisationsprodukte durch die Umsetzung mit Polyisocyanaten einen besonders geringen Anteil an cyclischen Siloxanverbindungen enthalten. Bevorzugt ist hier ein Gehalt unter 2 Gew.-% und besonders bevorzugt ist ein Gehalt von < 0.5 Gew.-%.
Idealerweise werden im ersten Schritt die Silane der allgemeinen Formel (2) und die Silanol-Gruppen enthaltenden Edukte in äquimolaren Verhältnissen eingesetzt, da so die
Entfernung überschüssigen Silans unterbleiben kann. Hierzu wird vorzugsweise der Gehalt an aktivem Wasserstoff im Silanol terminiertem Edukt beispielsweise durch Titration oder Spektroskopie bestimmt, um so eine zumindest äquimolare Menge an Silan zugeben zu können. Eine geringe Menge an verbleibenden Silanolgruppen von bis zu 5 mol-% in den synthetisierten Aminosiliconen kann jedoch für die weitere Verwendung noch toleriert werden. Bevorzugt werden jedoch Materialien mit Si- OH-Gehalten von weniger als 1 mol-% verwendet. Man erhält Bisaminomethyl-terminierte Siloxane der allgemeinen Formel (4) in hoher Reinheit, welche sich ausgezeichnet zur Herstellung hochmolekularer Siloxan-Harnstoff-Blockcopolymere eignen.
Zur Erreichung kürzerer Reaktionszeiten bei der Herstellung hochreiner Bisaminomethyl-terminierter Silicone der allgemeinen Formel (4) wird vorzugsweise ein kleiner Überschuss des Silans der allgemeinen Formel (2) erwendet, welcher anschließend in einem einfachen zusätzlichen Verfahrensschritt beispielsweise durch Zugabe kleiner Mengen an Wasser oder durch Destillation entfernt werden kann. Diese Reaktion kann dabei entweder bei Raumtemperatur oder unter Erhitzen durchgeführt werden. Durch den Einsatz von Kettenverlängerern wie Dihydroxyverbindungen oder Wasser zusätzlich zu den Harnstoffgruppen kann weiterhin eine deutliche Verbesserung der mechanischen Eigenschaften erreicht werden. So können Materialien erhalten werden, die in den mechanischen Eigenschaften mit herkömmlichen Siliconkautschuken durchaus vergleichbar sind, jedoch eine erhöhte Transparenz aufweisen und in die kein zusätzlicher aktiver Füllstoff eingearbeitet werden muss.
Vorzugsweise weisen die Kettenverlängerer die allgemeine Formel (6)
HZ-D-ZH,
auf, wobei D und Z die vorstehenden Bedeutungen aufweisen. Falls Z die Bedeutung 0 hat, kann der Kettenverlängerer der allgemeinen Formel (6) auch vor der Umsetzung im zweiten Schritt mit Diisocyanat der allgemeinen Formel (5) umgesetzt werden.
Beispiele für die zu verwendenden Diisocyanate der allgemeinen Formel (5) sind aliphatische Verbindungen wie Isophorondiiscyanat, Hexamethylen-1, 6-diisocyanat, Tetramethylen-1, 4-diisocyanat und Methylendicyclohexy-4, 4 - diisocyanat oder aromatische Verbindungen wie Methylendiphenyl- 4, 4 λ-diisocyanat, 2, 4-Toluoldiisocyanat, 2, 5-Toluoldiisocyanat, 2, 6-Toluoldiisocyanat, m-Phenylendiisocyanat, p- Phenylendiisocyanat, m-Xyloldiisocyanat, Tetramethyl-m- xyloldiisocyanat oder Mischungen dieser Isocyanate. Ein
Beispiel für kommerziell erhältliche Verbindungen sind die Diisocyanate der DESMODUR®-Reihe (H,I,M,T,W) der Bayer AG, Deutschland. Bevorzugt sind aliphatische Diisocyanate, bei denen Y ein (Cyclo-) Alkylenrest ist, da diese Materialien verbesserte UV-Stabilitäten zeigen, welche bei einer Außenanwendung der Polymere von Vorteil ist. Die α, ω-OH-terminierten Alkylene der allgemeinen Formel (6) sind bevorzugt Polyalkylene oder Polyoxyalkylene. Diese sind vorzugsweise weitgehend frei von Kontaminationen aus mono-, tri- oder höherfunktionellen Polyoxyalkylenen sein. Hierbei können Polyetherpolyole, Polytetramethylendiole,
Polyesterpolyole, Polycaprolactondiole aber auch α,ω-OH- terminierte Polyalkylene auf Basis von Polyvinylacetat, Polyvinylacetatethylencopolymere, Polyvinylchloridcopolymer, Polyisobutyldiole eingesetzt werden. Bevorzugt werden dabei Polyoxyalkyle verwendet, besonders bevorzugt
Polypropylenglykole. Derartige Verbindungen sind als Basismaterialien unter anderem für Polyurethan-Weichschäume und für Beschichtungsanwendungen kommerziell mit Molekularmassen Mn bis über 10 000 erhältlich. Beispiele hierfür sind die BAYCOLL® Polyetherpolyole und Polyesterpolyole der Bayer AG, Deutschland oder die Acclaim® Polyetherpolyole der Lyondell Inc., USA. Es können auch monomere α, ω-Alkylendiole, wie Ethylenglykol, Propandiol, Butandiol oder Hexandiol eingesetzt werden. Weiterhin sind als Dihydroxyverbindungen im Sinne der Erfindung ebenfalls Bishydroxyalkylsilicone zu verstehen, wie sie z.B. von der Firma Goldschmidt unter dem Namen Tegomer H-Si 2111, 2311 und 2711 vertrieben werden.
Die Herstellung der oben beschriebenen Copolymere der allgemeinen Formel (1) kann sowohl in Lösung als auch in
Festsubstanz, kontinuierlich oder diskontinuierlich erfolgen. Wesentlich dabei ist, dass für die gewählte Polymermischung unter den Reaktionsbedingungen eine optimale und homogene Durchmischung der Bestandteile erfolgt und eine Phasenunverträglichkeit gegebenenfalls durch Lösungsvermittler verhindert wird. Die Herstellung hängt dabei vom verwendeten Lösungsmittel ab. Ist der Anteil der Hartsegmente wie Urethan- oder Harnstoffeinheiten groß, so muss gegebenenfalls ein Lösungsmittel mit einem hohen Löslichkeitsparameter wie beispielsweise Dimethylacetamid gewählt werden. Für die meisten Synthesen hat sich THF als ausreichend gut geeignet erwiesen. Vorzugsweise werden alle Bestandteile in einem inerten Lösungsmittel gelöst. Besonders bevorzugt ist eine Synthese ohne Lösungsmittel.
Für die Reaktion ohne Lösungsmittel ist die Homogenisierung der Mischung von entscheidender Bedeutung bei der Umsetzung. Ferner kann die Polymerisation auch durch die Wahl der Reaktionsfolge bei einer Stufensynthese gesteuert werden. Hier werden für gewöhnlich geheizte Reaktoren wie z.B. Extruder verwendet. Dabei ist zu beachten, dass der Sauerstoff-Gehalt in der zu extrudierenden Reaktionsmischung oder deren Komponenten möglichst gering, um evtl. Vergilbungen des Polymeren zu vermeiden.
Die Herstellung sollte daher für eine bessere
Reproduzierbarkeit generell unter Ausschluss von Feuchtigkeit und unter Schutzgas, üblicherweise Stickstoff oder Argon erfolgen.
Die Umsetzung erfolgt vorzugsweise, wie bei der Herstellung von Polyurethanen üblich, durch Zugabe eines Katalysator. Geeignete Katalysatoren für die Herstellung sind Dialkylzinnverbindungen, wie beispielsweise Dibutylzinndilaurat, Dibutylzinndiacetat, oder tertiäre Amine wie beispielsweise N,N- Dimethylcyclohexanamin, 2-Dimethylaminoethanol, 4- Dimethylaminopyridin .
Bevorzugte Anwendungen der Polydiorganosiloxan-Harnstoff- Copolymere der allgemeinen Formel (1) sind Verwendungen als Bestandteil in Kleb- und Dichtstoffen, als Basisstoff für thermoplastische Elastomere wie beispielsweise Kabelumhüllungen, Schläuche, Dichtungen, Tastaturmatten, für Membranen, wie selektiv gasdurchlässige Membranen, als Zusatzstoffe in Polymerblends, oder für Beschichtungsanwendungen z.B. in Antihaftbeschichtungen, gewebeverträglichen Überzügen, flammgehemmten Überzügen und als biokompatible Materialien. Weitere Anwendungsmöglichkeiten sind Dichtstoffe, Additive für die Polvmerverarbeitunσ. anti-foulinσ Überzüge, Kosmetika, Körperpflegemittel, Lackadditive, Hilfsstoff in Waschmitteln und Textilbearbeitung, zum Modifizieren von Harzen oder zur Bitumenmodifizierung. Der Einsatz dieser thermoplastischen Materialien ist in vielen Anwendungen denkbar: in Dichtmassen, Klebstoffen, als Material für Fasern, als Kunststoffadditiv z.B. als Schlagzähverbesserer oder Flammschutzmittel, als Material für Entschäumerformulierungen, als Hochleistungspolymer (Thermoplast, thermoplastisches Elastomer, Elastomer) , als Verpackungsmaterial für elektronische Bauteile, in Isolationsoder Abschirmungsmaterialien, in Kabelummantelungen, in Antifoulingmaterialien, als Additiv für Putz-, Reinigungs- oder Pflegemittel, als Additiv für Körperpflegemittel, als Beschichtungsmaterial für Holz, Papier und Pappe, als Formentrennmittel, als biokompatibles Material in medizinischen Anwendungen wie Kontaktlinsen, als Beschichtungsmaterial für Textilfasern oder textile Gewebe, als Beschichtungsmaterial für Naturstoffe wie z.B. Leder und Pelze, als Material für Membranen und als Material für photoaktive Systeme z.B. für lithographische Verfahren, optische Datensicherung oder optische Datenübertragung.
Alle vorstehenden Symbole der vorstehenden Formeln weisen ihre Bedeutungen jeweils unabhängig voneinander auf.
In den folgenden Beispielen sind, falls jeweils nicht anders angegeben, alle Mengen- und Prozentangaben auf das Gewicht bezogen und alle Drücke 0,10 MPa (abs.) . Alle Viskositäten wurden bei 20 °C bestimmt. Die Molekularmassen wurden mittels GPC in Toluol (0,5 ml/min) bei 23°C bestimmt (Säule: PLgel Mixed C + PLgel 100 A, Detektor: RI ERC7515) . Die Erweichungsbereiche wurden durch Thermisch Mechanische Analyse (TMA) bestimmt.
Beispiel 1 In einem 2000 ml-Kolben mit Tropftrichter und Rückflusskühler wurden 1500g Bishydroxy-terminiertes Polydimethylsiloxan mit einem Molekulargewicht 3150 g/mol vorgelegt. Anschließend wurden bei Raumtemperatur 116 q Aminomethvldimethvlmethoxvsilan zugetropft und danach 2 Stunden stehen gelassen. Anschließend wurde das Nebenprodukt Methanol im Vakuum abgezogen. Man erhielt so ein Bisaminomethyl-terminiertes Polydimethylsiloxan mit einem Molekulargewicht von 3280 g/mol, das laut 9Si-NMR frei von Si-OH-Gruppen war.
Beispiel 2
In einem 2000 ml-Kolben mit Tropftrichter und Rückflusskühler wurden 1080 g Bishydroxy-terminiertes Polydimethylsiloxan mit einem Molekulargewicht von 10800 g/mol vorgelegt. Anschließend wurde bei einer Temperatur von 60°C 23,6 g
Aminomethyldimethylmethoxysilan zugetropft und danach 5 Stunden bei 60 °C gerührt, wobei gebildetes Methanol aus der Reaktionsmischung unter leichtem Vakuum abgezogen wurde. Nach dem Abkühlen erhielt man ein Bisaminomethyl-terminiertes
Polydimethylsiloxan mit einem Molekulargewicht von 11000 g/mol, das laut 29Si-NMR frei von Si-OH-Gruppen war.
Beispiel 3 In einem 250 ml-Kolben mit Tropftrichter und Rückflusskühler wurden 40 g Bisaminomethyl-terminiertes PDMS (Beispiel 1, Molekulargewicht 3280 g/mol) in einem Lösungsmittelgemisch aus 80ml trockenem THF und 20 ml Dimethylacetamid vorgelegt. Anschließend wurde bei Raumtemperatur eine Lösung von 2,33 g Methylendi-p-phenyldiisocyant in 20 ml trockenem THF zugetropft und danach 1 Stunde unter Rückfluss gekocht. Nach dem Abkühlen der Lösung wurde das Polymer durch Eintropfen in Hexan ausgefällt. Man erhielt ein welches in der TMA einen Erweichungsbereich bei 144 °C zeigte.
Beispiele 4-9 (nicht erfindungsgemäß) :
Analog zu Beispiel 3 wurde ein Bisaminomethyl-terminiertes PDMS mit einem Molekulargewicht von 3280 g/mol (analog Beispiel 1) oder 11000 g/mol (analog Beispiel 2) mit den Diisocyanaten Isophorondiisocyanat (IPDI) , Hexamethylen-1, 6-diisocyanat
(HMDI), Tetramethylen-1, 4-diisocyanat (TDI) , Tetramethyl-m- xyloldiisocyanat (TMXDI) oder Methylen-bis- (4- Isocvanatocvclohexan (H12MDI) umgesetzt.

Beispiel 13 :
In einem Zweiwellenkneter der Firma Collin, Ebersberg/Deutschland, mit 6 Heizzonen wurde unter
Stickstoffatmosphäre in der ersten Heizzone das Diisocyanat und in der zweiten Heizzone das Aminomethyl-terminierte Siliconöl mit einem Molekulargewicht von 3280 g/mol aus Beispiel 1 dosiert. Das Temperaturprofil der Heizzonen war wie folgt programmiert: Zone 1 45°C, Zone 2 100°C, Zone 3 150°C, Zone 4 140°C, Zone 5 140°C, Zone 6 130°C. Die Drehzahl betrug 50 u/min. Das Diisocyanat (Methylen-bis- (4-Isocyanatocyclohexan) ) wurde in Zone 1 mit 304 mg/min dosiert und das Bisaminomethyl- terminierte Siliconöl wurde in Zone 2 mit 3,5 g/min dosiert. An der Düse des Extruders konnte ein Polydimethylsiloxan-
Polyharnstoff-Blockcopolymer mit einer Erweichungstemperatur von 105 °C abgenommen werden. Beispiel 14:
Analog zu Beispiel 13 wurden in einem Zweiwellenkneter der Firma Collin, Ebersberg/Deutschland mit 6 Heizzonen unter Stickstoffatmosphäre mit einem Temperaturprofil (Zone 1 30 °C, Zone 2 90°C, Zone 3 120°C, Zone 4 130°C, Zone 5 100°C, Zone 6 80°C, Drehzahl = 50 u/min) Isophorondiisocyanat (IPDI) in Zone 1 mit 179 mg/min und das Bisaminomethyl-terminierte Siliconöl mit einem Molekulargewicht von 3280 g/mol aus Beispiel 1 in Zone 2 mit 3,5 g/min dosiert. An der Düse des Extruders konnte ein Polydimethylsiloxan-Polyharnstoff-Blockcopolymer mit einer Erweichungstemperatur von 58 °C abgenommen werden.
Beispiel 15
Analog zu Beispiel 13 wurden in einem Zweiwellenkneter der Firma Collin, Ebersberg/Deutschland, mit 6 Heizzonen unter
Stickstoffatmosphäre mit einem Temperaturprofil (Zone 1 30 °C, Zone 2 100°C, Zone 3 170°C, Zone 4 180°C, Zone 5 160°C, Zone 6 130°C,, Drehzahl = 50 u/min) Toluol 2, 4-diisocyant (TDI) in Zone 1 mit 111 mg/min und das Bisaminomethyl-terminierte Siliconöl mit einem Molekulargewicht von 11.000 g/mol in Zone 2 mit 5,2 g/min dosiert. An der Düse des Extruders konnte ein Polydimethylsiloxan-Polyharnstoff-Blockcopolymer mit einer Erweichungstemperatur von 107 °C abgenommen werden.
Beispiel 16
In einem 250 ml-Kolben mit Tropftrichter und Rückflusskühler wurden 32 g Bisaminomethyl-terminiertes PDMS mit einem Molekulargewicht von 3280 g/mol aus Beispiel 1 und 5 g Bishydroxypropyl-PDMS (Tegomer 2711, Th. Goldschmidt AG) mit einem Molekulargewicht von 5200 g/mol in einem
Lösungsmittelgemisch aus 80 ml trockenem THF und 20 ml Dimethylacetamid vorgelegt. Nach Zugabe von 3 Tropfen Dibutylzinndilaurat wurde bei Raumtemperatur eine Lösung von 2,5 g Isophorondiisocyanat (IPDI) in 20 ml trockenem THF zugetropft und danach 2 Stunde unter Rückfluss gekocht. Nach dem Abkühlen der Lösung wurde das Polymer durch Eintropfen in Hexan ausgefällt. Man erhielt ein Copolymer mit einem Molekulargewicht von 78000 g/mol, welches einen Erweichungspunkt bei 42 °C hat.
Beispiel 17 In einem 250 ml-Kolben mit Tropftrichter und Rückflusskühler wurden 32 g Bisaminomethyl-terminiertes PDMS mit einem Molekulargewicht von 3280 g/mol und 0,9 g Butandiol in einem Lösungsmittelgemisch aus 80 ml trockenem THF und 20 ml Dimethylacetamid vorgelegt. Nach Zugabe von 3 Tropfen Dibutylzinndilaurat wurde bei Raumtemperatur eine Lösung von 4,5 g Isophorondiisocyanat (IPDI) in 20 ml trockenem THF zugetropft und danach 2 Stunde unter Rückfluss gekocht. Nach dem Abkühlen der Lösung wurde das Polymer durch Eintropfen in Hexan ausgefällt. Man erhielt ein Copolymer mit einem Molekulargewicht von 63000 g/mol.
Vergleichsbeispiel 18 (nicht erfindtmgsgemäß) :
In einem Zweiwellenkneter der Firma Collin, Ebersberg/Deutschland, mit 6 Heizzonen wurde unter Stickstoffatmosphäre in der ersten Heizzone Methylen-bis- (4- Isocyanatocyclohexan (H12MDI) und in der zweiten Heizzone ein Aminopropyl-terminiertes Siliconöl (hergestellt durch Äquilibrierung gemäß EP 0 250 248, Molekulargewicht 3250 g/mol) dosiert. Das Temperaturprofil der Heizzonen war wie folgt programmiert: Zone 1 30°C, Zone 2 100°C, Zone 3 150°C, Zone 4 180°C, Zone 5 170°C, Zone 6 140°C. Die Drehzahl betrug 50 u/min. Das Diisocyanat wurde in Zone 1 mit 304 mg/min dosiert und das Aminöl (3250 g/mol) wurde in Zone 2 mit 3,5g/min dosiert. An der Düse des Extruders konnte ein Polydimethylsiloxan-Polyharnstoff-Blockcopolymer mit einer Erweichungstemperatur von 133 °C abgenommen werden.
Vergleichsbeispiel 19 (nicht erfindungsgemäß) :
Analog zu Beispiel 13 wurden in einem Zweiwellenkneter der Firma Collin, Ebersberg/Deutschland, mit 6 Heizzonen unter
Stickstoffatmosphäre mit einem Temperaturprofil (Zone 1 30 °C, Zone 2 100°C, Zone 3 170°C, Zone 4 160°C, Zone 5 130°C, Zone 6 130°C Drehzahl = 50 u/min) Isophorondiisocvanat (IPDI) in Zone 1 mit 179 mg/min und ein Aminopropyl-terminiertes Siliconöl (hergestellt durch Äquilibrierung gemäß EP 0 250 248, Molekulargewicht 3250 g/mol) in Zone 2 mit 3,5g/min dosiert. An der Düse des Extruders konnte ein Polydimethylsiloxan- Polyharnstoff-Blockcopolymer mit einer Erweichungstemperatur von 110 °C abgenommen werden.

Es zeigt sich, dass bei konstantem Isocyanat die auf dem Aminomethyl-terminierten PDMS basierenden Materialien niedrigere Erweichungsbereiche, einen geringeren 100%-Modul, kleinere Shore A-Härten, geringere Eigenfarbe sowie einen geringeren Eigengeruch haben.

Claims

Patentansprüche
1. Organopolysiloxan/Polyharnstoff/Polyurethan-Blockcopolymere der allgemeinen Formel (1)
B- { [NR4-CR2 2-SiR2- (0-SiR2) n-CR2 2-NR4-CO-NH-Y-NH-CO] a- [Z-D-Z-CO- NH-Y-NH-CO]b- [NR4-CR2 2-SiR2- (0-SiR2) n-CR2 2-NR4-CO-NH-Y-NH-CO- NH-Y-NH-CO]c}d-B
wobei
R einen einwertigen, gegebenenfalls durch Fluor oder Chlor substituierten Kohlenwasserstoffrest oder Kohlenwasserstoff-oxy-rest mit 1 bis 20 Kohlenstoffatomen bedeutet,
R2 einen einwertigen, gegebenenfalls durch Fluor oder
Chlor substituierten Kohlenwasserstoffrest mit 1 bis 20 Kohlenstoffatomen oder Wasserstoff bedeutet,
R4 einen einwertigen, gegebenenfalls durch Fluor oder Chlor substituierten Kohlenwasserstoffrest mit 1 bis 20
Kohlenstoffatomen oder Wasserstoff bedeutet,
2 ein Sauerstoffatom oder eine Aminogruppe -NR'-,
R' Wasserstoff oder einen Alkylrest mit 1 bis 10 Kohlenstoffatomen, Y einen zweiwertigen, gegebenenfalls durch Fluor oder
Chlor substituierten Kohlenwasserstoffrest mit 1 bis 20 Kohlenstoffatomen,
D einen gegebenenfalls durch Fluor, Chlor, Cι-C6-Alkyl- oder Cχ-C6-Alkylester substituierten Alkylenrest mit 1 bis 700 Kohlenstoffatomen, in dem einander nicht benachbarte Methyleneinheiten durch Gruppen -0-, -COO-, -OCO-, oder -0C00-, ersetzt sein können,
B einen funktionellen oder nicht-funktionellen organischen oder siliziumorganischen Rest, n eine Zahl von 1 bis 4000, a eine Zahl von mindestens 1, b eine Zahl von 0 bis 40, c eine Zahl von 0 bis 30 und d eine Zahl größer 0 bedeuten.
2. Organopolysiloxan/Polyharnstoff/Polyurethan-Blockcopolymere nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass R ein einwertigen, Kohlenwasserstoffrest oder Kohlenwasserstoff- oxy-rest mit 1 bis 6 Kohlenstoffatomen ist.
3. Organopolysiloxan/Polyharnstoff/Polyurethan-Blockcopolymere nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass R ein einwertigen, nicht substituierter Kohlenwasserstoffrest ausgewählt aus der Gruppe enthaltend Methyl-, Ethyl-, Vinyl-, Phenyl-, Methoxy- und Ethoxyreste.
4. Organopolysiloxan/Polyharnstoff/Polyurethan-Blockcopolymere nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass R2 und R4 unabhängig von einander einwertige Kohlenwasserstoffreste mit 1 bis 6 Kohlenstoffatomen sind.
5. Organopolysiloxan/Polyharnstoff/Polyurethan-Blockcopolymere nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass R2 und R4 unabhängig von einander Wasserstoff sind.
6. Organopolysiloxan/Polyharnstoff/Polyurethan-Blockcopolymere nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass D ein Alkylenrest mit mindestens 2 Kohlenstoffatomen und höchstens 12 Kohlenstoffatomen ist.
7. Organopolysiloxan/Polyharnstoff/Polyurethan-Blockcopolymere nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass D ein Polyoxyalkylenrest ausgewählt aus der Gruppe enthaltend Polyoxyethylenreste und Polyoxypropylenreste mit mindestens 20 und höchstens 800 Kohlenstoffatomen ist.
8. Organopolysiloxan/Polyharnstoff/Polyurethan-Blockcopolymere nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass n eine Zahl von 3 bis 800 ist.
9. Organopolysiloxan/Polyharnstoff/Polyurethan-Blockcopolymere nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass n eine Zahl von 25 bis 250 ist.
10. Organopolysiloxan/Polyharnstoff/Polyurethan-Blockcopolymere nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass a eine Zahl von höchstens 100 und c eine Zahl von höchstens 10 ist.
11. Organopolysiloxan/Polyharnstoff/Polyurethan-Blockcopolymere nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass b eine Zahl von 1 bis 25 ist.
12. Organopolysiloxan/Polyharnstoff/Polyurethan-Blockcopolymere nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass c eine Zahl von höchstens 5 ist.
13. Verfahren zur Herstellung von Organopolysiloxan/Polyharnstoff/Polyurethan- Blockcopolymeren der allgemeinen Formel (1)
B- { [NR4-CR2 2-SiR2- (0-SiR2) n-CR2-NR-CO-NH-Y-NH-CO] a- [Z-D-Z-CO- NH-Y-NH-CO]b- [NR4-CR2 2-SiR2- (0-SiR2)r.-CR2 2-NR-CO-NH-Y-NH-CO- NH-Y-NH-CO]c}d-B
nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 12 umfassend zwei Schritte, wobei im ersten Schritt ein Silan der allgemeinen Formel (2)
(R30) R2SiCR 2NHR4
mit siliziumorganischer Verbindung der allgemeinen Formel ( 3 ) , HO- (R2SiO) n-_H
zu Bisaminomethylpolydiorganosiloxan der allgemeinen Formel (4)
HRN-CR2 2- [SiR20] nSiR2-CR2 2-NHR4
umgesetzt wird, und im zweiten Schritt das Bisaminomethylpolydiorganosiloxan der allgemeinen Formel (4) mit Diisocyanat der allgemeinen Formel (5)

und gegebenenfalls Wasser oder Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel (6)
H -D-ZH
als Kettenverlängerer, polymerisiert wird, wobei
R einen einwertigen, gegebenenfalls durch Fluor oder Chlor substituierten Kohlenwasserstoffrest oder Kohlenwasserstoff-oxy-rest mit 1 bis 20 Kohlenstoffatomen bedeutet, R2 einen einwertigen, gegebenenfalls durch Fluor oder
Chlor substituierten Kohlenwasserstoffrest mit 1 bis 20 Kohlenstoffatomen oder Wasserstoff bedeutet,
R3 einen einwertigen, gegebenenfalls durch Fluor oder
Chlor substituierten Kohlenwasserstoffrest mit 1 bis 20 Kohlenstoffatomen oder Wasserstoff bedeutet,
R4 einen einwertigen, gegebenenfalls durch Fluor oder
Chlor substituierten Kohlenwasserstoffrest mit 1 bis 20 Kohlenstoffatomen oder Wasserstoff bedeutet,
Z ein Sauerstoffatom oder eine Aminogruppe -NR'-, R' Wasserstoff oder einen Alkylrest mit 1 bis 10 Kohlenstoffatomen, Y einen zweiwertigen, gegebenenfalls durch Fluor oder
Chlor substituierten Kohlenwasserstoffrest mit 1 bis 20 Kohlenstoffatomen,
D einen gegebenenfalls durch Fluor, Chlor, Ci-Cδ-Alkyl- oder Cι-C6-Alkylester substituierten Alkylenrest mit 1 bis 700 Kohlenstoffatomen, in dem einander nicht benachbarte Methyleneinheiten durch Gruppen -0-, -C00-, -OCO-, oder -0C00-, ersetzt sein können,
B einen funktionellen oder nicht-funktionellen organischen oder siliziumorganischen Rest, n eine Zahl von 1 bis 4000, a eine Zahl von mindestens 1, b eine Zahl von 0 bis 40, c eine Zahl von 0 bis 30 und d eine Zahl größer 0 bedeuten.
14. Verfahren nach Anspruch 13, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass in ersten Schritt die Silane der allgemeinen Formel (2) zumindest in äquimolarer Menge zugegeben werden.
15. Verfahren nach Anspruch 14, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass überschüssiges Silan der allgemeinen Formel (2) durch Zugabe von Wasser oder durch Destillation vor dem zweiten Schritt entfernt wird.
16. Verfahren nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 13 bis 15, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass eine Dihydroxyverbindung der allgemeinen Formel (6) oder Wasser als Kettenverlängerer im zweiten Schritt zugesetzt wird.
17. Verfahren nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 13 bis 16, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Diisocyanat eine aliphatische oder aromatische Verbindung ausgewählt aus der Gruppe enthaltend Isophorondiiscyanat, Hexamethylen-1, 6- diisocyanat, Tetramethylen-1, 4-diisocyanat,
Methylendicyclohexy-4 , 4 Λ-diisocyanat, Methylendiphenyl- 4, 4 ^-diisocyanat, 2, 4-Toluoldiisocyanat, 2,5- Toluoldiisocyanat, 2, 6-Toluoldiisocyanat, m- Phenylendiisocyanat, p-Phenylendiisocyanat, m- Xyloldiisocyanat, Tetramethyl-m-xyloldiisocyanat und Mischungen dieser Isocyanate ist.
18. Verfahren nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 13 bis 17, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass , ω-OH-terminierten Alkylene der allgemeinen Formel (6) Polyalkylene oder Polyoxyalkylene ausgewählt aus der Gruppe enthaltend Polyetherpolyole, Polytetramethylendiole, Polyesterpolyole, Polycaprolactondiole, α, co-OH-terminierte Polyalkylene auf Basis von Polyvinylacetat, Polyvinylacetatethylencopolymere, Polyvinylchloridcopolymer, Polyisobutyldiole sind.
19. Verfahren nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 13 bis 18, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die α, ω-OH-terminierten Alkylene der allgemeinen Formel (6) monomere ,ω- Alkylendiole ausgewählt aus der Gruppe enthaltend Ethylenglykol, Propandiol, Butandiol und Hexandiol sind.
20. Verfahren nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 13 bis 18, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die α, ω-OH-terminierten Alkylene der allgemeinen Formel (6) Bishydroxyalkylsilicone sind.
21. Verfahren nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 13 bis 20, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Verfahren unter Ausschluss von Feuchtigkeit und unter Schutzgas erfolgt.
22. Verfahren nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 13 bis 21, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass ein Katalysator ausgewählt aus der Gruppe enthaltend Dialkylzinnverbindungen, Dibutylzinndilaurat, Dibutylzinndiacetat, tertiäre Amine, N,N-Dimethylcyclohexanamin, 2-Dimethylaminoethanol und 4- Dimethylaminopyridin zugegeben wird.
23. Verwendung der Organopolysiloxan/Polyharnstoff/Polyurethan- Blockcopolymere nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 12 als Bestandteil in Kleb- und Dichtstoffen, Lackadditive, Material für Entschäumerformulierungen, Additiv für Putz-, Reinigungs- oder Pflegemittel, Additiv für Körperpflegemittel, Hilfsstoff in Waschmitteln und Textilbearbeitung, Material für Fasern, Additive für die Polymerverarbeitung, Basisstoff für thermoplastische Elastomere, thermoplastische Hochleistungspolymere, Kunststoffadditiv, Formtrennmittel, Verpackungsmaterial für elektronische Bauteile, Beschichtungsmaterial für Holz, Textilfasern, textile Gewebe, oder Naturstoffe, biokompatible Materialien oder Material für photoaktive Systeme oder in Isolations- oder Abschirmungsmaterialien, Kabelumhüllungen, Schläuchen, Dichtungen, Tastaturmatten, Antihaftbeschichtungen, gewebeverträglichen Überzügen, flammgehemmten Überzügen, Antifoulingmaterialien, Harzen, Bitumen, Dichtmassen, Klebstoffen, Flammschutzmitteln, Papier, Pappe, Kontaktlinsen, Kosmetika, Körperpflegemittel sowie in Systemen für lithographische Verfahren, optische Datensicherung oder optische Datenübertragung.
