Abstract

The invention relates to the functionalization of polymer surfaces, which is caused by a mechanical incorporation of functionalized and/or polymer-protected solid particles. A stable, homogeneous and dense functionalization of the substrate can be achieved by means of a mechanical effect on a polymer substrate wetted with functionalized solid particles. A simplification of the functionalization procedure is achieved by applying the described method.
